Our Respiratory Program is one of the most successful in the country. Our scope is to assure patients quality care through continuous monitoring and evaluation of patient related activities within the department.
Respiratory therapy staff work closely with all disciplines within the hospital. Each patient is thoroughly evaluated, then assigned an appropriate medical team. As part of our total commitment to patient care, the team always includes a pulmonologist, respiratory therapists, a clinical dietician and registered nurses, as well as physical, occupational, recreational, and speech therapists. This team approach results in quality patient care and good overall communication.
